Training for nursing staff

Nursing staff are offered oral care training. It is free of charge and it represents an important element of our outreach activity.

Oral Care's aim is for this oral care training to provide nursing personnel with sufficient motivation and practical knowledge to ensure that oral care becomes an entirely natural feature of day-to-day care. Our lectures contain instructions on how to keep discomfort from the teeth and oral mucous membranes to a minimum, how to retain relevant chewing ability and appearance, how to prevent any deterioration in oral health, and how to prevent conditions in the mouth resulting in a greater need for nursing care.

We are able to adjust the theoretical level according to each group's previous knowledge of oral care. All personnel will therefore receive a good basic training, which will result in oral care being individually adapted to meet the needs of the residents.
